The Firm version of the mattress is likely to be the best match for side sleepers who weigh more than 230 pounds, though some individuals in this weight group could experience sagging near their hips and shoulders. Those who weigh between 130 and 230 pounds may prefer the balanced feel of the Medium or Firm version of the mattress. Side sleepers who weigh under 130 pounds should get an exceptional blend of pressure-relieving contouring and spinal support from the Medium version of the Spindle. But we found these layers to be quite unwieldy, and it took significant effort to deconstruct the bed in order to reconstruct it once again at a different firmness preference.
